Pay the Deposit
A deposit of £20.00 per room is requested to secure a booking. This can be made by PayPal using the Deposit button below. Please do not pay the deposit until you have received confirmation of your booking from ourselves. We would be grateful if you could please pay the deposit within 5 days of receiving the confirmation. If you don’t have a PayPal account but do have a debit or credit card then the PayPal method can still be used. When paying, please enter your booking reference number in the ‘Instructions from Buyer’ field.
Please note our rooms are for a maximum of 2 people only, we can not accommodate extra adults, children or babies in our rooms due to health and safety and fire regulations.
Pay In Full/Pay Balance
If you would prefer to pay in full for your stay with us at the time of booking you can select the Balance button below. When paying, please enter your booking reference number in the Instructions from Buyer field.
- If you need to cancel your holiday more than 14 days before the date of your booking, the deposit/full payment will be refunded.
- If you need to cancel your holiday between 3 and 7 days before the date of your booking a charge of the firsts nights stay is payable.
- If you need to cancel your holiday after 10:00 local time 2 days before the date of your booking the total cost of your booking is payable.
- In the case of a no-show, the entire stay will be charged.
- Cancellations must be made in writing to email@example.com. Please do not consider your booking cancelled until you receive a confirmation from ourselves.
Payment on arrival/departure
We accept payment by Sterling cash, Visa and Mastercard Credit and Debit cards and American Express. Sorry we do not accept cheques.
Check in time is normally from 4.00pm onwards, this allows us time to clean the rooms as well as run any errands. If you would like to check in earlier than this please let us know in advance. Please be aware that if you arrive early without prior notification we may be out.
Check out time is by 10.30am. You are welcome, however, to leave your bags with us if for example you want to go out for a walk.
If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at time of booking. Some items can be bought in the local shop otherwise we will be able to pick them up if shopping in Oban or Fort William.
Whilst we welcome children it is important that you mention any that may be accompanying you when you make an enquiry, no matter what the age. We have to abide by fire regulations and terms within our insurance policy. If you arrive with a child not previously mentioned we may have to turn you away if we fall outside these terms and conditions. Children aged 13 and over are charged at the adult rate.
I am sorry but we are unable to accept visiting pets.
Fern Villa operates a non-smoking policy, this includes the use of e-cigarettes.
If you are only staying one night in a Guest House, why not use an overnight bag which will save you from lugging your big cases in and out each day.
Baggage Transfer Service
If you are using a baggage transfer service, for example if you are walking the West Highland Way, please could you let us know so that we know to expect a drop off/pick up so we can ensure someone is in for the handover of the bags.
We have enough parking for 1 vehicle per room. There are 4 spaces opposite the house and 1 to the side of the house.
We offer free WiFi.
Our Guest House is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Assistance dogs are welcome along with their family.
