Eating OutThere are several places to eat in the area, the nearest being the Laroch Bar and Bistro, just a couple of minutes walk down the road from Fern Villa. A short drive away in the car you can find:Ballachulish Ballachulish Visitor Centre Come to the Visitor Centre, do a bit of shopping and grab yourself some lunch. GLENCOE The Clachaig Inn The atmosphere at Clachaig is legendary, and is known throughout the world. The inn has three lively bars where good food is served throughout the day. Local venison, prime Scotch beef and Scottish salmon are popular favourites. Imaginative, mouth watering, vegetarian dishes are also featured daily. GLENCOE VILLAGE Glencoe Cafe. Serving speciality teas and coffees, breakfasts, great home baking, homemade soups and light lunches. KENTALLEN The Holly Tree Hotel described by many as the finest in the Highlands, has a glass wall facing the Loch where you may sit and watch the sun go down beyond the mountains in the west. The Holly Tree has long had a reputation for superior perfectly prepared food. The A La Carte dinner menu makes excellent use of local beef, game and wonderful local seafood and shellfish, served in season with herbs, salads and seasonal vegetables all perfectly prepared. ONICH Lochleven Shellfish Seafood Centre. Lochside restaurant with terrace. An extensive shellfish menu and monthly changing alternative menu including a meat and vegetarian option.
